Children’s cooking camp - Summer 2026

from £70.00

Keep the kids busy and make the summer holidays just a little more delicious!

Our Summer Holiday Cooking Camps for ages 9–14 run from 10am to 2pm, giving young cooks plenty of time to learn new skills, build confidence in the kitchen and, of course, enjoy lots of tasty food along the way.

Each day features a different selection of recipes and techniques, from breads, pasta and savoury dishes to sweet treats, baking projects and seasonal favourites. We'll cover essential cooking skills such as knife skills, dough making, baking, flavour building and kitchen confidence, with plenty of opportunities to get hands-on and creative.

Book individual days or join us for all three days for the full experience. Every session is designed to be fun, relaxed and educational, with children taking an active role in preparing and cooking everything themselves.

Classes take place in the brand-new, state-of-the-art Food Technology Suite at St George’s School, providing a safe, modern and inspiring environment in which to learn and cook.

Places are strictly limited to just 12 attendees, ensuring plenty of individual support and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

All camps are taught by Daniela Forbes, an experienced chef and food educator. Daniela is fully PVG registered and holds up-to-date first aid certification. All activities are carefully planned to meet the needs of younger learners and to provide a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment.
